About the Event
We are bringing Yoga to Hemisfair on May 1! This community event will be lead by our Yoga Instructor, Morgan Brown, and she is beyond excited.
This event is for all fitness levels and ages and FREE to the community. Morgan will guide a “vinyasa flow” which translates loosely to “flowing through a sequence of movement”. We will begin by moving and guiding the flow of our breath. Using our breath as a guide, we will begin to incorporate movement to warm the body preparing it to flow into more challenging postures designed to create union between the mind and body through full body strength and balance. Once we have arrived at the height of our flow, our blood will be pumping and we may very likely have some sweat on our brows. Here we begin to wind down as we take longer and more restful postures until we find ourselves, once again, focusing only on the flow of our breath before bringing our bodies to rest in savasana to enjoy the state of bliss that comes as a result of yogic practice.
Doesn’t this sound AMAZING?! And to top it off, we will be in our favorite and most beautiful park in the city, Yanaguana Garden at Hemisfair! If you have never been to one of our events here, this is your chance, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery alongside Yoga.
